A 4.5-magnitude earthquake shakes Swat and the surrounding regions.

On Wednesday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province’s Swat and surrounding regions were rocked by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale.
In a panic, people began reciting passages from the Holy Quran as they emerged from their houses. There were no reports of fatalities or property damage from the earthquake in any area of Swat.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad reports that the earthquake’s epicenter was 200 kilometers deep in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
