A magnificent day of pride in the country on Youm-e-Takbeer: Speaker for PA

Speaker of the Punjab Assembly (PA), Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah and the people of Pakistan on Youm-e-Takbeer, describing it as a “golden chapter” in the nation’s defense history.
“Youm-e-Takbeer is the day when Pakistan sent a clear message to its adversaries that our sovereignty is invincible,” the Speaker stated in his message. It is a day of renewed dedication to freedom, pride in our country, and protection of our homeland, not just a date on the calendar.
The Speaker emphasized that Pakistan successfully resisted hostile objectives by conducting nuclear tests on May 28, 1998, demonstrating that the country would never compromise on its security. He attributed this historic accomplishment to the fearless leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the unwavering work of Pakistani scientists, and the military’s professional competence, all of whom the country would always remember, he said.
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan emphasized the military’s contribution to Pakistan’s nuclear program’s security, legitimacy, and invulnerability. “The Pakistan Army has always stood tall in defense of the nation, from the mountains of Chaghi to every border of the homeland,” he continued.
According to him, Youm-e-Takbeer serves as a reminder of the long history of resisting aggression. He claimed that this very heritage is reflected in Pakistan’s courageous, coordinated, and calculated response to recent Indian aggression.
The Speaker declared, “Every threat to our sovereignty was thwarted by the united efforts of the entire nation, the government, our institutions, and the armed forces.” He went on to say that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal has maintained both external security and internal stability.
He said, “Truly, Youm-e-Takbeer is a celebration of national confidence, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve—foundations that underpin our invincibility.”
The great leaders, engineers, scientists, military officers, and patriotic citizens whose sacrifices made this milestone possible were also lauded by the Speaker.
