In the Rawalakot raid, four wanted terrorists were killed.

Four terrorists were killed in the Rawalakot region as a consequence of a coordinated police and law enforcement operation; two police officers were killed and eight others were injured.

According to SSP Poonch Riaz Mughal, the operation was launched after receiving credible intelligence about the presence of the terrorists in the forested region of Hussain Kot.

The suspects were thought to be organizing terrorist attacks in Azad Kashmir and had apparently sought refuge in a cave.

“Based on actionable information, a police team, including myself, surrounded the accused in the forest area to apprehend them,” SSP Mughal stated during a late-night press conference. One accomplice and a police officer were hurt when one of the terrorists set off a hand grenade during the operation.

All four of the terrorists, who were wanted in several murder cases, were killed in the resulting gunfight. “Tragically, two of our brave police personnel were martyred in the line of duty, and 20 others were wounded during the encounter,” said SSP Mughal.
