Seven BLA militants neutralised in security operations in Balochistan: ISPR

Security forces eliminated seven terrorists affiliated with the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), also known as Fitna al Hindustan, during two distinct intelligence-based operations (IBOs) executed in Balochistan, as reported by the military’s media division on Tuesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the initial operation occurred in the Mach region of Kachhi district, where forces acted on credible intelligence concerning the presence of armed militants. In a fierce gunfight, five alleged BLA agents were slain.
In a subsequent operation in the Margand region of the Kalat district, security personnel conducted a raid on what they characterised as a militant sanctuary. Two further suspected BLA militants were eliminated in the subsequent shootout.

The statement indicated that security forces are resolute in their commitment to eradicate terrorism and to ensure that both the culprits and their accomplices are brought to justice.
The operations are a component of an extensive counterterrorism initiative in the tumultuous province, where insurgent factions persist in executing intermittent assaults on state entities.
