Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Information Adviser for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stated on Wednesday that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur successfully championed the province’s rights during the Peshawar Jirga.
Saif stated that the federal leadership was once more apprised of the fund transfer for the amalgamated districts and the matter of Net Hydel Profit.
He articulated optimism that the federal government will expeditiously allocate the cash to the province, noting that the merged districts are now officially incorporated into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hence necessitating the transfer of funds.
He additionally asserted that delays in fund transfers impede the progress of the consolidated districts.
The alleviation of the deprivations in these districts is a collective obligation of both the federal and provincial administrations, and their advancement is essential for the eradication of terrorism.
The provincial information adviser underscored that terrorism is not solely a concern for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but for the nation as a whole. He insisted that the unpaid Net Hydel Profit dues be settled promptly, cautioning that denying one province growth is detrimental to the federation.
