The global acknowledgment of Pakistan’s narrative: Sherry Rehman

Senator Sherry Rehman, representing Pakistan’s high-level diplomatic delegation led by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, stated from Washington DC that Pakistan’s principled and responsible position is receiving global acknowledgment.
The world community is recognizing Pakistan’s narrative. “Pakistan’s strategic maturity has created an enhanced opportunity for dialogue, especially regarding India,” she asserted.
She emphasized Chairman Bilawal’s substantial interactions in New York with representatives from China, Russia, the United States, and members of the E10. “In each meeting, he adopted a holistic approach—highlighting strategic restraint and addressing all issues, including the Indus Waters Treaty.”
Chairman Bilawal emphasized that Kashmir is the fundamental cause of regional instability. She stated that he reiterated Pakistan’s position that lasting peace is contingent upon addressing the issue in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
She condemned India’s activities under Prime Minister Modi, referencing breaches of international standards. India has transformed warfare into a perpetual arena. If peace is the objective, India must alter its stance and engage in dialogue.
Senator Rehman asserted that Pakistan’s sacrifices must not be overlooked. “Following the martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan has confronted terrorism directly. Our military has incurred significant costs; we have evolved through our sacrifices.
