On Wednesday, Lin Jian, spokeswoman for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that both the Pakistani government and the interim Afghan administration have declared their intention to elevate their diplomatic missions to the ambassadorial level. China has embraced this advancement.
The spokeswoman stated that China anticipates this action will enhance mutual confidence between the two nations, bolster cooperation, and foster peace and stability in the region.
He stated that this is a substantial and favorable development, demonstrating the dedication of Pakistan and Afghanistan to execute the results of the informal trilateral conference conducted in May of this year among the foreign ministers of China, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
