Pakistan’s emphatic 3-0 T20I series victory against Bangladesh has precipitated significant changes in the latest ICC T20I rankings, with emerging talent Mohammad Haris achieving the most notable ascent.
Haris ascended an impressive 210 positions to attain 30th in the batting rankings, amassing 580 rating points, following his remarkable achievement of the second-fastest T20I century by a Pakistani in the series finale.
Middle-order batsman Hasan Nawaz advanced 57 positions to 45th, while Saim Ayub ascended four places to 61st. Captain Salman Ali Agha, who amassed 90 runs during the competition, ascended 42 ranks to 75th place.
Nevertheless, prominent batsmen Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman saw declines.
Fakhar fell 10 positions to 87th, while Babar slid to 12th, surpassed by Rizwan, who now occupies 13th place.
Australia’s Travis Head maintained the No. 1 batting position, succeeded by India’s Abhishek Sharma and England’s Phil Salt.
In bowling, Abbas Afridi ascended 18 positions to 19th place with 605 points following a robust performance, while Shadab Khan and Abrar Ahmed are both positioned at 59th after significant advancements.
Shaheen Afridi (36th), Haris Rauf (19th), Sufiyan Muqeem (83rd), and Naseem Shah (94th) all had declines in their rankings.
Jacob Duffy of New Zealand, Akeal Hosein of the West Indies, and Varun Chakaravarthy of India occupy the top three spots in the bowling rankings.
