In the forthcoming fiscal year 2025–2026, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has set aside a sizeable sum of money for development projects. A total of 2,159 programs, including 810 new ones, have been proposed.
The road infrastructure sector, which contains 221 new development projects—the most of any sector—has received the largest allocation, according to the provincial budget department. There will be 93 new plans for the health department, 69 for the water supply, and 60 for the provision of municipal services.
The budget also benefits the industrial sector with 22 new projects, agriculture with 18, and education and forestry with 29 new projects apiece.
The total estimated cost for all new projects stands at Rs. 88.13 billion. Including ongoing schemes.
