Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE counterpart, called Senator Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, on Tuesday.
Following Israel’s military attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the two presidents talked about the changing regional landscape.
They emphasized the urgent need to support efforts to ensure regional peace and stability and voiced their profound concern over the rising tensions.
Dar had a conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty the day before. The two leaders expressed deep concern over the deteriorating regional situation, in the wake of the unjustified Israeli aggression against Iran.
They reaffirmed their commitment to work closely for maintaining peace and stability in the region and beyond.
