The British vlogger’s AirPods that were stolen in Dubai are located and returned by Jhelum police.

Months after being reported stolen in Dubai, the Jhelum police have located and given back a pair of AirPods to British travel vlogger Lord Miles.
According to reports, Lord Miles had the wireless earbuds stolen when he was in the United Arab Emirates earlier this year.
Initial reports state that an Indian national stole the device and later sold it to a Pakistani living abroad, who brought it back to Pakistan without knowing where it came from.
Using Apple’s integrated tracking system, the vlogger—who is well-known for his daring travels and social media presence—was able to locate the AirPods and discovered that they were in a residential area of Jhelum.
Unable to identify the user, Lord Miles posted the information on X (formerly Twitter) and asked for help from the local authorities.
District Police Officer (DPO) Jhelum, Tariq Aziz Sindhu, was alerted to the social media post and promptly directed a focused investigation. The neighborhood where the AirPods had been located was searched from door to door. Eventually, police were able to track down the person who had the device.
Police sources claim that after being made aware of the situation, the individual using the AirPods cooperated and consented to return them.
Later, Lord Miles traveled from the UK to Pakistan to personally pick up his property. On Friday, the AirPods were formally given to him at the DPO’s Jhelum office.
Online conversations concerning the need for greater awareness regarding the resale of electronic goods with traceable software and international coordination in cyber-assisted recoveries have been triggered by the incident.
Speaking to the media, DPO Sindhu praised the investigative team’s prompt work and emphasized the significance of combating digital crime in a world that is becoming more interconnected by the day.
