July 2 will mark the end of the ongoing monsoon season: Met Office

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the current monsoon rainy season is expected to conclude by July 2.
However, it is anticipated that the nation will soon experience another severe period of heavy rainfall, which could cause disruptions to daily life.
Irfan Wark, deputy director of the Met Office, stated that a new system of widespread rains will follow the current monsoon phase, which will last until July 2.
He continued by saying that the forthcoming spell is anticipated to bring significant rainfall to many areas of the nation, with upper and central Punjab and other areas being especially affected. The overall water situation is also anticipated to improve as a result of the rains.
