The President appoints Chief Justices for all four High Courts.

On Monday, President Asif Ali Zardari appointed the chief justices for all four provincial high courts, as per notifications released by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
The notifications, identical in content, affirmed that the appointments were executed pursuant to Clause (1) of Article 193 of the Constitution, which regulates the procedure for appointing high court judges.
The appointments will commence upon the respective justices’ administration of their oaths of office.
Justice Sarfraz Dogar has been designated as the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, whereas Justice Rozi Khan Barrech will assume the role of Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court. Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah has been appointed Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, while Justice Junaid Ghaffar will take on the role of Chief Justice at the Sindh High Court.
The recently appointed chief justices are anticipated to be inaugurated later this week. President Zardari will administer the oath to Justice Dogar at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, while the governors of the respective provinces will oversee the oath-taking ceremonies for the other three high court heads.
