Motivating young people to invest in the future of the country: Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui

Islamabad: According to Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, empowering young people via skill development is an investment in both their and the country’s future.
In honour of the graduates of the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program, he was speaking as the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony in Islamabad.
The Minister commended the program for giving young Pakistanis skills that will be useful in the future.
The minister also conducted a raffle draw and personally gave laptops to a number of trainees in appreciation of the hard work of the top-performing students.
Muhammad Aamir Jan, Executive Director of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, reiterated the commission’s commitment to offering free, excellent training in a variety of fields.
One of the government’s main initiatives, the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program, aims to lower unemployment and prepare young people for employment in the industrial and digital economies.
