The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) executed a raid at Bahria Town Karachi, confiscating multiple vehicles.

The vehicles were relocated from Bahria Town to the NAB office. A case regarding the unlawful allocation of 17,000 acres of land in Bahria Town is presently being adjudicated.

Several months prior, the NAB suspended the commercial assets of Bahria Town Karachi.

The Accountability Court in Karachi has issued a notable order in the case concerning Bahria Town owner Malik Riaz, summoning him and other principal defendants via newspaper advertisements following their persistent nonappearance in court.

The notice, released on Monday, instructs Malik Riaz, his son Ali Riaz, son-in-law Zain Malik, and other co-defendants to appear before the court and submit their responses by July 15 concerning the ongoing proceedings related to the confiscation of their properties.

The development follows the issuance of an order by the Director General (DG) NAB Karachi to seize properties belonging to Malik Riaz and other individuals implicated in the case. The Special Public Prosecutor of the National Accountability Bureau has submitted the case to the court for validation of the confiscation order.
