The prime minister said the government would pass on the benefits of falling global oil prices to the general population during a federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday. He went on to say that lower petroleum prices would soon be announced.
He claimed that electricity rates have been cut by Rs 7.50 per unit with the assistance of the energy secretary, finance minister, and other officials. This remedy is applicable to businesses as well as all consumers.
Additionally, the prime minister denounced the murder of eight innocent Pakistanis as a horrible act.
According to him, the foreign minister has communicated with his Iranian counterpart and released a statement expressing the hope that the Iranian government will apprehend and prosecute the murderers.
