During a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated, “The government has resolved not to transfer the advantage of reduced fuel prices in the international market to the populace.” Financial resources derived from petroleum prices will be allocated to remedy the nation’s afflictions.
Subsequent to this decision, petrol would be priced at Rs254.63 per litre, while high-speed diesel will be priced at Rs258.64 per litre.
The Prime Minister stated that the funding would be allocated to finalize the N-25, the most significant highway in Balochistan, connecting Chaman, Quetta, Kallat, Khuzdar, and Karachi.
