In the majority of the country, PMD forecasts hot, dry weather.

For the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mostly hot and dry conditions for the majority of the country, with the possibility of light rain and thunderstorms in a few isolated areas in the upper regions.
The PMD predicts hot, dry weather in Islamabad and the majority of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) districts. However, there is a risk of partly overcast sky with light rain and thunderstorms throughout the evening or night in places like Murree, Galliyat, and upper KP districts including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Batagram, and Shangla.
The weather is predicted to stay extremely hot and dry in the southern regions of Punjab and throughout Sindh, with afternoon gusts or dust-raising winds. Balochistan is expected to see similar circumstances, with hot, dry weather that is accompanied by strong winds.
In the meantime, weather in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan may be partly cloudy, with isolated areas possibly seeing thunderstorms or light rain.
Most of the country experienced hot, dry weather over the previous 24 hours, with extreme heat in the southern regions. A few locations in Gilgit-Baltistan experienced little rain, with Bagrote and Bunji both receiving 1 mm of precipitation.
With temperatures reaching as high as 44 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, Jacobabad continued to be the hottest city in the nation.
