Air Marshal Zaheer Sidhu is called by Zimbabwe’s air chief.

In Islamabad, Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu received a visit from a high-level delegation headed by Commander of the Air Force of Zimbabwe Air Marshal John Jacob Nzvede.

During the meeting, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu reaffirmed Pakistan Air Force’s commitment to helping the Air Force of Zimbabwe improve its operational training, maintenance standards, and human resource capabilities.

He claimed that the two nations’ long-standing military-to-military ties are founded on their agreement on all significant matters pertaining to regional peace and security.

In order to rebuild the training framework of the Zimbabwean Air Force, the Commander of the Air Force of Zimbabwe expressed his sincere desire and asked for the full assistance of the PAF.

Acknowledging the PAF’s internationally recognized training standards, he stated his want for Zimbabwe Air Force cadets to receive training at the esteemed PAF Academy Asghar Khan and take advantage of its cutting-edge training programs.

Additionally, he explained Zimbabwe’s appeal for PAF pilots, engineers, and technical staff to help modernize the Zimbabwe Air Force.

In order to strengthen the operational training capability of the Zimbabwe Air Force, the summit also addressed the prompt acquisition and delivery of 12 Super Mushak trainer aircraft.

Prior to his arrival, Air Marshal John Jacob Nzvede was greeted with the Guard of Honor by a well-groomed unit of the Pakistan Air Force.
