China declares comprehensive support for Pakistan in light of escalating tensions with India regarding the Pahalgam incident.

China has conveyed its support for Pakistan after India made what Islamabad characterizes as unfounded accusations on the Pahalgam incident in Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that they fully comprehend Pakistan’s legitimate security concerns and endorse its endeavors to protect its sovereignty and security interests.

Wang expressed China’s endorsement of a just and prompt inquiry into the assaults.

The Chinese foreign minister urged both Pakistan and India to exercise restraint, engage in dialogue, and work together to de-escalate tensions and promote stability in the region.

Last week, the National Security Committee (NSC) decided to give India a fitting response and take up belligerence with international forums.

The decision was made one day after India announced the abrogation of the Indus Waters Treaty, the deterioration of diplomatic relations, and the closure of the Attari crossing.

The NSC dismissed all Indian accusations against Pakistan during the Pahalgam attack.

The group endorsed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ suggestions and committed to a robust reaction to Indian diplomatic and water hostilities.

The meeting conveyed approval regarding the operational readiness of the armed forces.

The NSC decided to close Wagah Border with immediate effect and said Pakistan reserved the right to suspend all bilateral agreements, including Simla Pact (signed in 1972).

The NSC conveyed condolences on the fatalities resulting from a terrorist incident in the Pahalgam region of India-occupied Kashmir.
