JUI-F chairman called by Naqvi to address escalating Indo-Pak tensions
Here in Lahore on Tuesday, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F), to address issues of common concern, the Palestine issue, and the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
Regarding Pakistan’s moral position and choices in reaction to India’s irrational and unilateral acts, Naqvi gained Fazl’s trust.
The JUI-F chairman was also briefed by the interior minister on the National Security Committee’s (NSC) conclusions.
On this particular occasion, Naqvi asked how Fazl was doing and wished him well.
Fazl declared during the conversation that “Modi is an enemy of Muslims; wherever there is a front against Islam and Muslims, Modi will stand there.”
