Indian diplomats depart from Pakistan; 22 embassy staffers return over the Wagah-Attari border.

Amid escalating diplomatic tensions between Pakistan and India, 22 personnel from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, including three diplomats, repatriated to India across the Wagah border, sources said on Wednesday.
Insider accounts indicate that Indian diplomat Rahul Kumar Rakesh supervised the delegation’s departure, which occurred in two waves.
During the initial phase, one Indian diplomat and eight staff members, accompanied by two family members, entered India via Wagah on Tuesday. The second group comprised two extra diplomats, eleven staff workers, and two more family members, all of whom departed earlier today.
The diplomatic initiative occurs amid escalating military tensions, as both parties issue warnings on potential actions in the imminent days.
Reports indicate that the Indian High Commission is functioning at a diminished capacity due to precautionary measures implemented in response to concerns of potential escalation.
