In light of the regional issue, PM Shehbaz thanks the president of Azerbaijan for his assistance.
In order to thank Azerbaijan for its assistance during the recent South Asian situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke with President Ilham Aliyev over the phone.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to President Aliyev for his steadfast support, saying it reflects the Azerbaijani leader’s tremendous affection and connection to the Pakistani people. Additionally, he expressed his sincere gratitude to the friendly people of Azerbaijan for their support of Pakistan during these trying times.
The Prime Minister emphasized Pakistan’s strong commitment to maintaining the ceasefire and told President Aliyev that Pakistan had committed to a ceasefire accord with India for the sake of regional peace.
He underlined that Pakistan and Azerbaijan have a strong and enduring connection and that the two countries have always supported one another like brothers.
President Aliyev was also formally invited to visit Pakistan by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the Azerbaijani leader accepted with grace.
President Aliyev praised Pakistan’s efforts for peace, especially its determination to uphold the ceasefire, and congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz on Pakistan’s outstanding achievement. He reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s steadfast dedication to deepening relations with Pakistan in every area.
