In the first T20I, Pakistan defeats Bangladesh by 37 runs.

At Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 37 runs in the first game of their three-match Twenty20 International series.
Shadab Khan claimed two wickets, but Hasan Ali was the best bowler with five.
Bangladesh was given a goal of 202 runs by Pakistan, who batted first. Pakistan was at a risky 1/2 in the first overs when openers Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub fell cheaply, batting just 1 and 0 respectively.
But the ship was stabilized by a counterattacking cooperation between captain Salman Agha and Mohammad Haris. Salman anchored the innings with an elegant 56 off 34, laced with eight fours and a six, while Haris hammered a scorching 31 off 18 balls with four boundaries and a six.
When Shadab Khan and Hasan Nawaz teamed up to mount a vicious attack on the Bangladeshi bowlers, momentum exploded. While Shadab played an equally aggressive knock of 48 off 25 balls, hitting the boundary five times and clearing it twice, Nawaz smashed 44 off 22 deliveries, including four huge sixes.
As wickets fell in the last overs, Pakistan’s innings stuttered. Faheem Ashraf contributed a valuable undefeated 11 off 6 balls, but Khushdil Shah only managed 5 off 10. With a single run off the final ball, Hasan Ali contributed.
With two wickets for 23 runs, Shoriful Islam was the best bowler for Bangladesh. Mahedi Hasan, Hasan Mahmud, Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Shamim Hossain each claimed a wicket.
The Green Shirts had previously won the toss and decided to bat first.
On home ground, captain Salman Ali Agha decided to start with the batsman position. Pakistan made six changes to the team that faced New Zealand in the March Twenty20 International series.
In contrast, Bangladesh retained the same playing XI that recently lost a T20I series 2-1 to the UAE.
