In the midst of internal strife, Shaukat Yousafzai calls on PTI leadership to restore employee faith.

Shaukat Yousafzai, a senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has urged the party’s leadership to speak with disenchanted members and take a firm stand on the party’s course, particularly with reference to the attempts to secure the release of Imran Khan, the PTI founder and former prime minister.
Yousafzai acknowledged the rising discontent inside the party in an interview with a private television channel. Pressure is rising among the employees, and there is internal strife. It’s becoming clear that there is no strategy,” he said.
He emphasized that since Imran Khan personally picked the leadership, it was their duty to make choices and provide clear guidance. “Imran Khan will never make concessions, but the party needs to provide a clear explanation for his continued incarceration.”
Yousafzai emphasized that a nonviolent political movement is necessary. “We can exert moral pressure on the administration, but we cannot threaten it. “The leadership needs to take a firm stance,” he stated.
He cautioned that party workers were becoming nervous and reiterated that obtaining Imran Khan’s release was still the top goal. “The leadership needs to inspire trust in the workforce. Issues may arise if they decide to go out on their own. We must be ready for a protracted political conflict.
