Karachi will not see a heat wave, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has declared that there is presently no threat of a heat wave in Karachi, although the prediction of elevated temperatures for the city today.

The most recent weather forecast indicates that Karachi will endure extreme heat today, with the actual temperature reaching 36°C and the “feels like” temperature surpassing 40°C. The department stated that the weather will remain hot and humid during daylight hours.

The morning temperature was noted at 30°C, with winds originating from the southwest at 7 kilometers per hour. The air’s humidity level is 78%, contributing to discomfort despite relatively moderate temperatures.

Meteorological authorities have verified the reestablishment of sea breezes in the city, which is aiding in alleviating the threat of a heat wave in the provincial capital.
