May 9 incident: Court authorizes police to conduct a polygraph examination on Imran Khan.

On Wednesday, a Lahore anti-terrorism court (ATC) authorized the police to interview Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in prison over 12 instances associated with the incidents of May 9.
In a reserved ruling issued by Judge Manzar Ali Gul, the court additionally sanctioned the administration of a polygraph examination and a photogrammetric assessment of the former prime minister. The prosecution submitted a petition for these tests, which the court approved.
The court has instructed the police to deliver the investigative report by May 26.

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), met with his three sisters, including Aleema Khan, and three members of his legal team, including party chairman Barrister Gohar, at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Aleema Khan, Uzma Khanum and Noreen Khanum visited their brother, while Barrister Gohar, Salman Safdar and Zaheer Abbas Chaudhry also met with the PTI leader. Bushra Bibi had a visit from her sister-in-law, Mehrun Nisa Ahmed.
