Actors such as Yumna Zaidi, Ahad Raza Mir, and Danish Taimoor are once again becoming visible on Instagram for Indian users.
This has pleased fans; however, the situation is not yet resolved. Prominent figures such as Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan remain prohibited in India, with their admirers in anticipation.
The most popular YouTube channels featuring Pakistani daily dramas have returned to India, alongside the Instagram accounts. Viewers can now rewatch their preferred programs without any complications.
India prohibits Pakistani YouTube channels in a social media enforcement initiative.
In April 2025, a terrorist attack in Pahalgam prompted India to suspend the social media accounts of Pakistani actors.
The Indian government and entertainment industry associations endorsed the prohibition. Several film projects and brand collaborations with Pakistani artists were also annulled during this period.
