30 players are selected for the U19 Skills Camp.

Thirty players were chosen on Thursday by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the third stage of the U19 Skills Assessment Camp, which will start in Multan on Monday, July 7 and run through the end of August.

Azhar Ali, Head of Youth Development, oversaw the evaluation of 65 players during two previous phases of a comprehensive match-based assessment process, which resulted in the selection of the 20 new players. Ten players who are qualified for the ICC U19 World Cup 2026 and have previously played for Pakistan U19 have also been added to the squad.

The forthcoming ICC U19 World Cup is open to players born on or after September 1, 2006. As part of a larger plan to develop a strong pool for upcoming international assignments, such as the ACC U19 Asia Cup and the ICC U19 World Cup, the third phase seeks to improve the technical and mental skills of the chosen players.

Players were split up into two groups for the earlier stages, and each group participated in four competitive games. Coaches and selectors were able to evaluate important skills like batting, bowling, fielding, and game awareness in match situations thanks to this setup.
