A motorcyclist in the Shahdara Town neighborhood of Lahore is seen falling into an exposed manhole in CCTV footage that has surfaced.
After sewerage excavation work, rainwater accumulated in Shahdara Town’s Rasool Park area, creating dangerous conditions. After leaving their house on a motorcycle, a citizen fell into an open manhole. CCTV footage of the incident clearly captured the moment of the fall.
The impacted person was successfully pulled out and prevented from drowning by the swift formation of a human chain by the locals, according to the CCTV footage.
In the meantime, Muslim Park and Hasnain Colony in Shahdara Town are still plagued by standing rainwater.
Jhalaran Road, Haq Bahu Road, Rahim Bux Road, Bukhari Park, Rajput Park, Chand Khan Shaheed Chowk, Siraj Park, Pracha Colony, and other areas have also reported water accumulation.
