At the Command and Staff conference, the Pakistan Navy chief emphasizes combat readiness.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), presided over the Pakistan Navy’s Command and Staff Conference, which came to an end at Naval Headquarters, the navy’s media wing reported.

According to a statement released by the Directorate General Public Relations (Navy) on Wednesday, the Naval Chief emphasized during the conference the significance of preserving constant combat readiness in order to successfully counter both conventional and unconventional threats in the maritime domain.

Admiral Ashraf commended the Pakistan Navy’s successful demonstration of strength and defense capabilities during MARKA-e-HAQ, highlighting its unbeatable deterrence at sea.

READINESS FOR OPERATIONS

Additionally, he praised the Navy’s proactive efforts to ensure uninterrupted operations at sea ports and a steady supply flow via Sea Lines of Communication (SLOCs).

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

In order to improve maritime surveillance and response, the Naval Chief also emphasized the development of capabilities in unmanned systems, such as drones and unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
