China will use AI to train police in Islamabad.

China will use artificial intelligence (AI) and contemporary technology to train police officers in Islamabad.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and a Beijing Police Department delegation met and came to an agreement.
Mohsin Naqvi was visited in Islamabad by the delegation headed by Gao Jianzan, Deputy Director General of the Beijing Police Department.
The goal of the meeting was to improve collaboration between the Beijing and Islamabad police forces.
It was decided that officers from Islamabad would go to Beijing to receive specialized training in contemporary technology and policing techniques. In order to enhance domestic policing systems, the officers will also receive artificial intelligence training.

According to Minister Naqvi, the advanced training will improve the Islamabad Police’s capabilities. He emphasized the value of studying the experiences of the state-of-the-art, well-equipped Beijing Police force.
The minister also praised Beijing’s assistance in giving Islamabad Police anti-riot training and emphasized the value of prompt information sharing in combating organized crime, terrorism, drug trafficking, and human smuggling.
The Beijing Police delegation was thanked by Mohsin Naqvi for their dedication to extending collaboration.
Senior directors from the Beijing Police Department and Li Yuhang, the Deputy Director General of China’s Ministry of Public Security, were part of the Chinese delegation.
The meeting was also attended by Pakistani officials, including DG FIA, IG Islamabad, interior secretary, and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry.
