Nationwide, utility stores close
The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has ceased all of its activities throughout Pakistan in accordance with orders from the federal government.
All zonal managers have reportedly received a written warning from USC ordering the immediate suspension of all purchasing and selling activity at utility stores across the country, with effect from Thursday.
All groceries and other necessities have been transported from store shelves to warehouses, according to the letter.
