Nawaz Sharif and CM Maryam met with the Saudi ambassador to talk about bilateral relations.

Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki paid a visit to PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday.
The three-time prime minister conveyed his appreciation and best wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, every Muslim has a strong emotional and spiritual connection to Saudi Arabia.
According to her, mutual trust, common values, and a long history of brotherhood form the foundation of Pakistan-Saudi relations.
She went on to say that Saudi Arabia continues to be a key component of Pakistan’s foreign policy and that the two countries’ bilateral relations are strengthening in a number of areas, including politics and the economy. She also commended Saudi Arabia for its positive contribution to regional peace.
Moreover, the chief minister expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for hosting around 2.5 million Pakistani nationals.
Mutual cooperation, economic cooperation, defense cooperation, and the unity of the Muslim Ummah were among the many themes that were discussed during the summit.
The historic, political, economic, and defense relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan would be further strengthened, both sides emphasized.
They decided to increase intelligence sharing, mutual aid, collaborative training programs, and defense collaboration.
