SalamAir of Oman begins service from Muscat to Islamabad.
Details indicate that when SalamAir’s first aircraft, OV563, with 203 people on board, landed at Islamabad Airport at 2:55 AM, it was met by a water salute.
SalamAir is scheduled to launch flights to Lahore tonight, after Islamabad. Five weekly flights will be operated by the airline, according to Aftab Gilani, the airport manager.
