Police officer killed by unidentified attackers in Charsadda
A police officer was killed and a Health Department employee sustained severe injuries when unidentified motorcyclists discharged firearms at a vehicle in Charsadda.
Police officials said that an unfortunate occurrence occurred on Ghani Khan Road in Charsadda, where unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle discharged firearms at a vehicle. Consequently, a police officer was killed, and a Health Department employee sustained severe injuries.
The slain police officer has been identified as Farooq, who was assigned to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office. The assailants successfully escaped the location following the shooting.
The police reported that the corpse of the deceased officer and the injured guy were promptly sent to the District Headquarters Hospital.
Subsequent to the occurrence, apprehension and turmoil proliferated in the vicinity, as law enforcement gathered evidence from the site and commenced an investigation. A search effort is in progress to locate the assailants.
