The federal government has raised petrol prices by Rs8.36 and diesel prices by Rs10.39 per litre for the first half of July 2025, imposing an additional burden on the populace.
Sources indicate that the price of petrol has risen by Rs8.36 per litre for the upcoming 15 days, while diesel has increased by Rs10.39 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance has established the new petrol price at Rs266.79 per litre and the high-speed diesel price at Rs272.98 per litre.
A notification regarding the escalation of petroleum prices has been disseminated. According to sources, the revised prices of petroleum products have been enacted immediately.
OGRA submitted a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum, following which the Finance Minister, in conjunction with the Prime Minister, announced the new prices.
