The post-mortem indicates that model Humaira Asghar Ali passed away 8 to 10 months ago.

The post-mortem report of model Humaira Asghar, whose body was discovered in a flat in Karachi’s Defence area, has disclosed alarming findings, indicating that her death transpired 8 to 10 months ago, rather than the previously assumed six months.
The report indicates that the model’s nails were separated from the bone, her face was indistinguishable, and the flesh from her lower body had entirely decomposed. Nevertheless, no fractures were detected.
The report indicated that the condition of the body precludes the possibility of determining whether she was sexually assaulted. Samples, comprising hair and fragments of her shirt, have been dispatched for chemical analysis.
Simultaneously, Humaira Asghar’s remains have been returned to her family, who have departed for Lahore. Her brother refuted claims of any estrangement with her.
In a distinct development, a woman named Dr. Syeda Kainat lodged a complaint on the Prime Minister’s Portal, asserting that the model was murdered. She alleged that a physician’s father was implicated in the sexual assault of Humaira and coerced her into substance abuse. Subsequent to the complaint, the Inspector General of Sindh has mandated an investigation.
