Trial Train Arrives in Harnai Following Nine-Month Suspension

SIBBI: Following a nine-month suspension, a trial train successfully reached Harnai from Sibi on the Harnai-Sibi railway line, signifying the reinstatement of an essential transportation connection between two prominent districts of Balochistan.
The train left Sibi in the morning and arrived at Harnai Railway Station at 5 PM, where it was cordially welcomed by local officials and people of the community.
Train operations on the route have been halted since July 13 of the previous year due to extensive damage inflicted by excessive rainfall and flooding. The reinstatement of service addresses a persistent demand from the inhabitants and the business sector in both Sibi and Harnai.
The Harnai-Sibi rail line has encountered numerous obstacles historically, including significant destruction due to terrorist assaults. Notwithstanding the difficult terrain and adverse conditions, railway authorities, in collaboration with pertinent organizations and with substantial assistance from the Frontier Corps Balochistan, finalized the restoration and repair of the track.
A communal prayer took place at Harnai Railway Station to commemorate the safe arrival of the train and the successful rebuilding of the railway line.
