Who is the new head coach of Pakistan’s white-ball cricket team?

The appointment of Mike Hesson as the head coach of Pakistan’s white-ball cricket squad has been formally announced by Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Naqvi declared, “I am happy to announce Mike Hesson as the new head coach of the Pakistan team.” Hesson will join the national setup exclusively for white-ball formats on May 26 and take over his duties.

According to Naqvi, Aaqib Javed has been named the High Performance Center’s director.

According to Naqvi, the post had remained unfilled and other applications were examined before the appointment was made.

Mike Hesson is anticipated to contribute significant experience to Pakistan’s limited-overs cricket establishment. He is well-known for his coaching achievements with New Zealand.

After reviewing a large number of applications, Hesson was hired to fill the position, which became open following the April tour of New Zealand by the Pakistan men’s team.

In the past, Hesson had been the head coach of several international teams, such as Kenya and New Zealand. In addition, he is presently the head coach of Islamabad United, the HBL Pakistan Super League’s reigning champions.
