At Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, South African Air Force Chief Lieutenant General Wiseman Simo Mbambo paid a visit to General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC).
According to a statement from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting covered a wide range of topics of bilateral cooperation and mutual interest.
The dignitaries talked about doable ways to increase the frequency and extent of interactions between the two armed forces. They also discussed the larger geopolitical environment.
CJCSC emphasized Pakistan’s contributions to regional peace and stability and shared Pakistan’s viewpoint on the changing security environment in the region.
The visiting dignitary recognized the sacrifices made by the Pakistani Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism and praised their professionalism.
Earlier, a well-groomed tri-services contingent gave the visiting dignitary a “Guard of Honor” when they arrived at Joint Staff Headquarters.
