CM Gandapur asserts that the governor lacks the power to overthrow the KP government.

On Thursday, Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, declared that Governor Faisal Karim Kundi lacked the power to overthrow the provincial administration.
Chief Minister Gandapur told reporters in Peshawar on Thursday that Governor KP Kundi was unable to even win an election as a councilor.
He also stated that an investigation into the Swat incident is still in progress and that any instances of negligence will be addressed. He promised to demolish illegal buildings along rivers and to punish those responsible for the Swat tragedy.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui, meanwhile, declared that no strategy that might cause Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to enter a crisis would be employed. He went on to say that it is incorrect to think of the Governor’s meeting with the Prime Minister as a conspiracy. “Even Imran Khan had to deal with a vote of no confidence, which is a constitutional and legal procedure.”
Furthermore, Gandapur’s request for an extension of his protective bail was granted by the Peshawar High Court (PHC), which also mandated that the KP chief minister not be arrested under any circumstances.
