It is unconstitutional to use the Governor House as a political gathering place. He claimed that the governor was speaking in oppositional terms rather than maintaining his neutrality.
He added that the public would react negatively if the governor did not abstain from politics. The province’s governor should stay within the bounds of his constitution and refrain from attending political events. The governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is betraying his constitutional oath by acting in a biased manner.
The governor must keep in mind that he is a state representative, not a member of any political party, Afridi emphasized. It is disrespectful to the office of governor to play a political role. “The people of the province do not accept the governor’s partiality, and we reject the political activities occurring in the Governor House,” he continued.
