In FY2024–2025, overseas Pakistanis sent $38.3 billion.

In the fiscal year 2024–2025, remittances from Pakistanis living abroad reached a record $38.3 billion, a notable 27% increase over the previous year.
Stable exchange rates and government incentives for using formal banking systems have helped to boost expatriate workers’ confidence in the nation’s financial channels, according to official data released by the State Bank of Pakistan.
According to a statement from the SBP, “remittance inflows in FY2024-25 stood at $38.3 billion, compared to $30.1 billion received during FY2023-24.”
As authorities collaborate with foreign partners to further digitize and streamline remittance systems, the government has stated its hope that the momentum will continue in the current fiscal year.
