A motorcycle was killed by a Karachi dumper, and the driver was taken into custody.

The victim’s body was taken to Jinnah Hospital for additional treatment, according to police officials.

The dumper driver was arrested and transferred to the Malir City police station after originally escaping the scene, according to the police report. In his statement to the police, the driver, Ejaz, stated that the event involved a dumper whose steering and brakes failed.

Ejaz, who was traveling from Sohrab Goth to Qayyumabad, admitted to dozing off at the time of the accident. His driver’s license had expired, according to additional research.

The dumper was reported to have been brought into custody by the police, and a state complainant case was filed at the Malir City police station. One motorcycle was totally destroyed in the crash, and another was slightly destroyed.

The driver also disclosed to the police that he works 12-hour shifts, spending the remaining time sleeping, which may have contributed to his fatigue during the incident.

As per details, the dumper, loaded with construction debris, collided with a boundary wall of a bungalow near Defence Morr while en route to Punjab Colony.

According to the police, the wall of the bungalow was damaged in the hit. The driver of the dumper has been arrested.

According to the driver, braking failure was the cause of the collision.

Traffic police confirmed that both the driver and the cleaner sustained injuries in the crash and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
