“Any codes you receive through messaging applications or SMS should not be shared since they could be exploited for illegal access. According to a news release, legitimate courier services don’t ask customers to enter codes in order to receive their packages.
The PTA urged the public to confirm the legitimacy of such messages before replying, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding consumers from online fraud.
