The MDCAT 2025 date is announced by PMDC.

Under the direction of Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination held a meeting during which the announcement was made.

The updated curriculum for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 was previously made public by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on Thursday.

The updated exam will cover five subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, English, and logical reasoning, according to PMDC President Dr. Rizwan Taj.

The test will last three hours and consist of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be no negative marking and the question paper will only consist of multiple-choice questions. 15% of the questions will be easy, 70% moderate, and 15% challenging.

According to Dr. Rizwan Taj, admission to a medical college will require a minimum of 55% of the possible points, while admission to a dental college will require 50% of the possible points.

Additionally, PMDC has started the process of creating an exam question bank. He added that universities, educational boards, and academic experts had all been consulted in the preparation of the new curriculum.
