The United States refutes India’s denial of its involvement in the ceasefire with Pakistan.

The United States has characterized India’s assertion of no American involvement in the Pakistan-India ceasefire as inaccurate and deceptive.

During a media briefing on Tuesday, US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated, “Most comments speak for themselves.” In the contemporary era, one does not depend solely on a single remark to ascertain the truth. Certain individuals’ perspectives are erroneous. President Trump has elucidated matters.

Ms. Bruce stated that refuting that assertion is merely “a matter of opinion.”

She asserted that the United States facilitated the ceasefire negotiations between Pakistan and India. US Vice President JD Vance participated in the negotiations between the two nations, and his contribution warrants recognition.

“Donald Trump is present to facilitate this process and to enhance clarity.” Secretary Marco Rubio is similarly positioned, with the Vice President of the United States also engaged in negotiations with Pakistan and India,” she stated.

President Trump has repeatedly claimed to have influenced the Pakistan-India ceasefire during the four-day conflict in May, whereas the Indian government has consistently refuted any American participation in the negotiations.

On Tuesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated at an open cabinet meeting that “we prevented and concluded a war between India and Pakistan.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar have consistently refuted claims of US mediation in the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
