To combat terrorism, the KP government will host an all-parties conference.

In order to develop a cohesive plan for combating terrorism in the province, especially in the recently combined districts, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has chosen to call an all-parties conference (APC).

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur presided over a high-level meeting that examined the security situation in North and South Waziristan as well as other merged areas before making the decision. Senior government officials and members of the provincial cabinet attended the meeting.

It was decided during the meeting that a cooperative strategy involving all facets of society would be used to bring about peace. To expedite public consultations and visit different locations, a government delegation will be established.

In order to restore peace, Chief Minister Gandapur underlined that all parties must put aside their differences and work together on a common platform.

He declared that all political party parliamentary leaders will receive invitations to the next APC.

Long-lasting peace can only be attained by meaningful action, mutual consultation, and decisions based on consensus, the Chief Minister added, calling for an urgent meeting with MNAs and MPAs from the combined districts.

He emphasized the need for public officials to speak out, unite, and guarantee the successful execution of the anti-terrorism plan.
