The head of the Saudi Navy, Vice Admiral Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Ghraibi, met General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, during his visit to the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The meeting covered Middle East and South Asian security issues, with maritime security being a major focus, according to the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza emphasised the two nations’ longstanding relationship and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening defence cooperation during the visit.
The Saudi Navy leader was presented with a guard of honour upon his arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters, according to ISPR.
